The institute would apply for the student visa on behalf of the student.

Documents Required (scans via email)

  • Signed application form
  • Passport scan (first and last page)
  • All completed educational documents including any English test report (if taken)
  • Any work experience certificate
  • PP size photo
  • Bank Balance certificate
  • IF APPLICANT IS CURRENTLY EMPLOYED: payslips for the last 3 months / ITR (if available) / appointment letter, ID card

Visa Application Process

  • Send required documents (via email)
  • College assesses the documents and will revert within 3 working days
  • Admission letter in the student’s name will be issued accordingly
  • Pay APPLICATION FEE starting at S$165 (Rs.8,500/- approx.) directly via bank transfer to the college account. The application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. College will apply for a student visa on behalf of the applicant.
  • Processing time for the visa is approx. 3 weeks
  • When visa is issued, college will send the first page of the visa as evidence. At this stage the balance course fee is to be transferred directly to the college.
  • On receipt of payment, college will send the entire visa documents which will include applicant’s details, visa details, course details etc.

Applicant makes travel reservations and informs VCS of travel date so the same can be notified to the college.

Is study and stay in Singapore expensive?

Study and living in Singapore is very affordable. Tuition fee is significantly lower than what it would be in the UK, US, Australia etc. However the standard of education and quality of living is world-class.

Under the internship courses, with the option to work, you could possibly recover all or more of the amount you spend.

Can I take an educational loan for my education?

Requirements for a loan vary from bank to bank subject to their own terms and conditions, your credit scores, collateral etc. You would need to enquire at your bank branch for further clarification.

Can I work part time during my studies?

Singapore has restriction on part time work during studies.

Can I extend my visa post my course?

Yes, your visa would be extended on the basis of what you do next ie enroll for another course or seek employment.

Can my family / dependents accompany me during my studies?

Singapore does not permit dependents whilst the primary applicant is on a student visa.

What support can I expect from VCS during this entire process?

VCS would help facilitate the entire process for you. From initial counseling in choosing the right study options, college application process, getting offer letter to visa documentation guidance and support. We will also guide you through the important dos and don’ts for a smooth transition from India to Singapore.

How will I get details on my living options?

Post your visa, VCS will guide you through all the available hostel options including costs, proximity to the institute etc.

What happens if my student visa is rejected?

VCS would appeal the refusal on your behalf at no extra costs.

What would be my financial loss in case of a rejection?

The only payable in advance is the non-refundable admission fee to the college. Any further fee payment is only post issuance of visa.

When do I start the process?

Singapore offers regular intakes with a visa processing time of approx. 3 weeks. You have the flexibility to choose your intake.
